Licensed-footwear concept study
Product Design · Licensed Collaborations · Footwear Graphics
Big characters, built into the product.
I explored how the visual worlds of Keith Haring, Minions and One Piece could live on Skechers footwear while the shoes still felt recognisably Skechers. The characters and artwork were worked into the product rather than pasted on as an afterthought.

Product expression
How the idea was built into the object people would actually meet.
The product problem
The three licensed properties were visually very different. Each needed to feel authentic, but the ideas also had to respect the construction and recognisable cues of the shoes.
The design logic
I designed around the panels, soles, straps and shape of each product. That let the licensed artwork influence the shoe itself instead of sitting on top as a flat graphic.
What was developed
Footwear concept directions showing how each licensed visual world could translate onto specific products.
The review value
The study produced three distinct, footwear-led collaboration directions for concept review. These are presented as concept work, not launched products.
